Maybe, maybe not, but he doesn’t seem to get exposed 1 one 1 where his slowness becomes exploited so clearly, as often as happens virtually every game Gvardiol plays.Gvardiol is quicker than Ake though.
Ake ie great for us and his positioning and intelligence makes him a very good defender but he's not blessed with pace. I reckon Gvardiol is a little quicker.
