And we should win tomorrow. Real are better than their recent results. We are the better team. Real have a home advantage. This one is huge, because its the sole reason we gonna find it not so easy tomorrow and we have not been yet great away of home this season. But Real has too many injuries and we have to much firepower.

We gonna slighty prevail! But it caught me with little shock when recalled our best away performances this season. I mean Wolves, Brentford, Swansea?;p Fulham we been great for 60 min but ended 4:5, probably Villareal been best or Arsenal in terms how close we been to win on a tough ground.
The win at Brentford probably gave me the most satisfaction, the fact that we kept a clean sheet, Haalands stunning goal, we competed really well, it was just a very satisfying result all round ..... Fulham was a terrific game, and a great three points, but that 2nd half was far too nervy for my liking !

The dog didn't think much of it either, I accidentally spilt half of my coffee on his tail!

so all of this drama just to end up with what seems to me like a very strong side?

TAA
Militao
Hujsen
Mendy/Alaba
Camavinga
Mbappe

Those 6, probably start in their best lineup, so they're definitely weaker.

They're still Madrid though, so of course their back up lineup is decent.

Let's not under estimate the cockroaches. They are at home. They will close the roof. The ref will give them everything. Players that have been under performing recently will come good for them. Why do I say this? Because its City. They will raise their game and they will get the rub of the green as they always do at home. I hope we win, but these cockroaches are capable of defying their recent form and doing a smash and grab on us. It should be a great game. Come on City!

What a fantastic pre match interview i just watched with Bernardo Silva. Great communicator, perfect english, multi lingual, great player. City could do a lot worse than keep him as a player coach after his current contract and have Pep train him up as City's next manager.

He gets renewed in the summer for me regardless, as a leader, as somebody with a winning mentality and he's still one of our better players.

I really dislike Madrid as a club, arrogant and entitled with more plastics than any club going. They get breaks from refs, La Liga and UEFA. Their behaviour around the ballon d’or shows how classless and petty they are. They’ve a team full of twats like Bellingham and Rudiger. Worst of all no matter how their season is going they seem to play well against us. Their record against us is too good as well, they’re like a successful Spurs.

I don’t believe that Mbappe is going to miss this one, I expect they’ll be stronger than the leaks are suggesting. I expect Rodrygo to cause us problems and end his drought because he always plays well against us.

That said we are starting to show some form, there’s signs that Foden and Cherki are starting to click. Doku is still hurting teams. Bernardo usually plays well against them, though we could do with Haaland scoring tomorrow.

They’re not in great form, they have injuries, there’s rumours around Alonso so it’s an opportunity tomorrow. I really hope we turn it on tomorrow.

Marca going with Mbappe being out:

Won't get many better chances at the Bernabau.

I've no idea of the context around this, but whatever it is seems thats a striking stat. If mbappe is out as well as a couple of others dont see why we can't win reasonably comfortably, really need to show some bollocks

Chance to go 5th, potentially up as high as 3rd with a win tomorrow. Would set us up nicely, give us a big confidence boost and also put the shitters right up Arsenal. With that potential Madrid lineup, it's a game we should be winning.

Looking how tight the table is likely to be a point tomorrow would be huge. I reckon 16 points is too tight to call whereas 17 is likely enough

16 was enough last season, but only on goal difference.

Looking more and more inevitable that 17 points is the magic number in this new format.
