Real Madrid away

How did people get on with tickets not in their name etc. I saw on twitter a fair few trying different methods in the Plaza to try and get round it.
They were lots being turned away when we went in… firstly everyone was checked for passport/name match and then they shone a UV light to see if the original name had been lifted…

Not sure if it got more lax before kickoff

Thank heavens the scousers didn't make it through, it would have made their jobs 10 times more difficult.

City fans doing everyone proud in Madrid. I personally had a great day and thought it was a brilliant atmosphere. Buzzing with the result as well. The Spanish police weren’t even that bad, which is saying something- a bit over the top but no where near as bad as a few years ago

It’s still a joke that you need a passport to get into a football match and then keep you in for ages after
Anyway homeward bound

Mark Halsey (who officiated our game against Gillingham in '99 and who is a self-confessed QPR fan) was in the away end last night with his daughter and her Spanish boyfriend.

How have the three of them got tickets in our end? Very strange.

To his credit he was supporting City, so there's that. But still not right when there were proper blues who couldn't get tickets.

He posted on twitter he was going to the game. Some Gillingham fans were not happy!

So, mate got his pocket picked on the metro last night, phone gone. Phone had our train tickets to Alicante on it, train operator wouldn't let us board despite our names being on the system. So, the 10:45 train left without us, which means we've missed the 15:10 flight back.

Currently on the 12:51 with an additional night in Alicante to look forward to.

£200 poorer but who gives a rats ass.
Up the fucking Blues.
