£300 for a day trip is a lot of money.

Blame the airlines, €170 for flight from Dublin, taxi to Bernabeu, taxi back to Airport, Flight back to Dublin, taxi home.

Most of that is taxis.

Do not understand why there are problems with Madrid Hotels.
Did it last time with them, overnight no problems.
Cannot see how Madrid has suddenly run out of beds. ?

Supply and demand, I suspect. Issue with getting an affordable aircraft too.

I'm flying to Dublin at 22:00 on Tuesday night, then to Ibiza at 7:50 wed morning before a flight to Madrid arriving at 15:30 all for £76.

You'll pay more than that now without transfers and all the hassle. Spike does everything for you. Bargain in my opinion.

I booked via Dublin last night and paid £250 so as you say not a bad deal in relation

Hopefully, 2012 went on sale at 8000 points on the 6th Sept and sold out on the 10th, 3600 tickets...!
Guess it'll start at 11 or 12000 now...?
