Positives were Doku, Khusanov and the fact we did some good build up play. And 200 ticket points tomorrow for those of us in the cup scheme.
Negatives were our cutting edge and Reijnders who was terrible.

Attacker has the ball, Khusanov is in a position where he cannot possibly win the ball without fouling, but he does it again and again. Great pace and precision tackling; just what we need.

Khusanov was brilliant and can become top class if he can add a little bit of defensive nous. Which, with normal development, should happen. A partnership with Guehi looks on the cards and very promising.

We weren’t embarrassed tonight. I thought the players gave a great an account of themselves tonight, especially when they were down to 10 men. Both Madrid keepers made plenty of good saves. And we had two goals ruled out for offside.
