I started to think we might be okay when Jools tucked away the 4th goal.Welled up like mad once the 3rd goal went in. That's when I knew we made it.

Was a 10-15 minute spell at start of second half when madrid had more of the ball but remember grealish on the end of 2 tactical fouls after that i felt calmerI started to think we might be okay when Jools tucked away the 4th goal.
Out of curiosity .. are, typically speaking, Man United and Man City fans different from each other, personality wise (on average)? From a historical perspective, for example, Inter and Milan fans used to be rather different ... is there a similar thing between City and United fans?
This one has a few more Spanish reactions including a Real Madrid fan who seems to be surrounded by, let's just say non-Madrid fans.
@twosips makes an appearance too, trying to celebrate while not waking the baby.
We are the perfect spinal column
When I was at school (long time ago) all the cocky, arrogant kids tended to support United, attracted by their success. There are exceptions of course. Always thought we were more down to earth, happy to laugh at ourselves. Continued success might change that over time which would be a shame.
Playing an open game against this city side is as good as shooting yourself in the foot even if you're Real Madrid. Though much has changed since last year with the inclusion of Haaland but what stands out for me is how we've gone up in terms of focus, intensity, adaptability and hunger. CL loss last year have done us more good in the long run and it's showing this season. Happy Times
Me too. Old habits and all that...I started to think we might be okay when Jools tucked away the 4th goal.
Looking back and reflecting on the game last night, something picked up in the media I had forgotten amid the euphoria was Pep having a go at Kev. This was after he'd lost the ball a couple of times early in the second half. In the crowd I too was going mad at our approach early in that half. We were too reckless and gung ho when 2-0 up and reflecting on what happened last year against Madrid it was madness. No wonder Pep went mad. Thankfully we sorted it out and regained control again. It reminded me that when we do lose its often us shooting ourselves in the foot, as opposed to the opposition being better than us.
