What was welcome last night was the decision time for VAR to conclude no offside for the 3rd goal.

No farting about, just a short look and decision made.

I hope Webb was watching and took note of how VAR working correctly looked like, but I won't hold my breath.

Come the end of the season, get Bernie and Gundo in a room somewhere, lock the door and don't open it again until the transfer window has closed. How we replace these guys is beyond me

We've heard this before and here we are.
They will be replaced if needed and we will evolve and progress to the strengths of whoever comes in next.

Why stop at 9 new players? I can think of 11 players you could buy who would improve your squad. And a manager as well if you want to get rid of Carlo.

Actually its only 4 starters that need immediate replacing which may impact performance in the short term. The substitutes (basically players who come on in the last 10-20 minutes) can be changed without any major issues in terms of squad cohesion.

As comparison - after Pep's first and trophyless season at City, City purchased 6 major first teamers (Laporte, Mendy, Walker, B Silva, Ederson, Danilo), purchased 4-5 other youth players and promoted Brahim and Foden.
