Everyone apart from de Bruyne had a blinder. Kev looks like 4,026 minutes this season, at his age and with his injury record (and having Covid twice in a year), has been a bit too much for him. I’d only play him at Brighton now before the two Cup finals.

How fucking good was Rodri? Walker too, plus Dias Gundo and especially Bernardo. What a performance!

Theirry Henry said he couldn’t repeat what KDB told him post match, but he made it sound like Kev had played knowing he wasn’t fully fit (virus/cold?)
 
Very very surreal. Been nervous all day, at the ground well early. Got a last minute ticket yesterday. Celebrated each goal and gave it loads, but this is business. We have to get this monkey off our backs.
I feel like we have ticked a box, but the job isn’t done. That Chelsea final still bugs, we need to get this thing done. Don’t give two shits about a treble, don’t care, it’s this fucking pot I want, this team deserves it.

To be honest, i think the Liverpool side in the last 4 or 5 years would've smoked that united team too and they only won the league once.

He was outstanding. Akanji, Grealish, Bernardo and Walker the pick of an exceptional bunch for me. Struggling to think of a better performance and atmosphere than that tonight, voice is shot to pieces but hopefully OK for Sunday :)
 
Real couldn't match our attitude, our work rate, our pressure.
Modric and Kroos might be still good enough in Spain, but not for City.
No country for old men... Ah, Benzema too. Alaba as well.

Camavinga has to learn a lot and got a free lesson from Bernardo tonight.

That way it makes sense Real is in desperate need of Bellingham...
 
Fucking hell. Just got in. What a match, what a performance, what an atmosphere. I have no idea how that sounded on the box but it was deafening in the ground. Everybody stayed as well. Madrid got away with four, we could have scored eight. That was what I dreamt champions league nights were going to be like when we were on the outside looking in. We battered them really, it got a little nervy at the start of the second half as they had a spell but we rode it out. I'm bloody drained.
