Real Madrid (H) Ticket Info | SOLD OUT

This is exactly what I said just a few pages back about single seats being used by the club in hospitality packages, rather than being sold as single seats to local fans.

It wouldn't surprise me if most of those tickets on the live ticket site have been put there incognito by the club.

I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
We are in the East stand level 3 and the amount of half and half scarfs on Wednesday was the most I have seen it's ridiculous, but they spend the money in the club shop and on food and drink, so the club will do fuck all to change it

I reckon we could’ve sold 90,000 tickets for this match. A bigger Etihad of 60,000 capacity still wouldn’t be enough. We are MASSIVE!

Horrible feeling that the scum’s business model of forcing season ticket holders onto cup schemes might be on the horizon here. Their hairy hoards whinged for years about it and did the sum total of fuck all on the whole. Think they’re no longer forced too. Seeing it from the Clubs point of view I think they could take the Goodfellas stance can’t afford it? Fuck you pay me! If you’re stretching it with a season ticket financially already then not being able to opt out will make people give up their season tickets. Club can then sell at a premium.
I have been on the cup schemes for as long as I can remember but, it’s done with for me after this season. To be honest I made my mind up after the Bayern game. Great to see us so popular but, I am reminded of something a good (rag) mate said after the takeover that we’d become everything we hate. He gave up watching the rags years ago and watches Salford these days to be fair he started two years before their takeover so he’s no glory hunter. One last thing too, if we get to the final I won’t be going so here’s one less 19000+ cup scheme ticket that won’t be being used. Reason? I fucking hate Turkey, even at Christmas!

Know loads of people who are fuming about the way this was done. Loads haven’t got a ticket.

No criteria for the sale of the tickets, you could have signed up for the Citizens thingymajiggy yesterday for the first time and been able to get a ticket for Madrid at home today.

Sold out in minutes and minutes later they were all on the tout sites for hundreds of quid.

Clearly City aren’t arsed because they’ll get a cut of that.

Fuck all you cunts who’ve bought a ticket just to sell on for a profit, I hope you fall down a well!

Fallen down a Twitter rabbit hole. This guy says Arsenal have a big problem bots hoovering up tickets. It wouldn't be surprising if City's increase in popularity means something similar happened today.

Dispatches did a documentary a few years back about how record companies and venues hold back tickets for concerts through the proper channels and just give thousands to the tout sites where people pay hundreds and sometimes thousands of pounds. The record company and venue get a cut of that from the tout site.

There’s no way this isn’t happening in football. Seen loads of games where it’s billed as SOLD OUT at the Etihad over the years with loads of lads I know unable to get tickets only for there to be empty seats or tourists who’ve never seen Manchester on a map before booking that game.

Then the club have the fucking cheek to come out hours later and charge me £60 more for my season ticket for next season when they’re probably creaming four times that off every one of these tout tickets.

Proper fucking joke!

And things are different now. We've had some fantastic players in recent years, but Haaland is arguably the first who is a blockbuster attraction in his own right. If you were a football tourist/'fan of the game' and what draws you to games is to see Messi, Mbappe, Lewandowski, now you can add Haaland to that list.

It's beyond Haaland as well. Two years of house arrest has got people off armchairs and appreciating that the real world can be brought to a stop so you have to take advantage of it. Then throw in FFP. It all suggests we're going to see a good few years where the club will seek to maximise every opportunity for profit...and the train probably won't slow down until Pep has left and things are going less smoothly for us on the pitch.
If you were a fan of the game you would appreciate that there are positions other than striker. Those just want to worship goal-scorers should stay at home.
Erling is brilliant, there is no doubt about it, but I'd argue KDB and Spanish Dave were equally as good in their respective positions.
It's a team game.
