Real Madrid (H) Ticket Info | SOLD OUT

Danny Wilson rang me after I emailed him once. We spoke for about 45 minutes. Seems a decent bloke. I didn’t get any tickets, should I even have to ask for them? We’re a Manchester school.

United have an office in our school. Ferguson opened our new 4g footy pitches, our kids are ball boys at Old Trafford every year and kids get tickets all the time.
Cec Ave?

I’ve no idea how many members there are but I’m sure there a lot more than there are seats in the ground, so you couldn’t guarantee them anything.
There are enough matches that don’t sell out in the groups to enable members to be in a cup scheme. It would give members something for their commitment and not disadvantage any ST holder as they would have the priority to sign up before August, anyway.
At the moment the ST holder has their cake and eats it they can skip the cup scheme and still know they can get a ‘big’ cup match if they fancy it.

I was talking to someone I deliver to on Friday. He mentioned his lad is in a ballot for a ticket for the Madrid home game. It will cost him £5 for ticket and coach. The school is in Welshpool - known as Welshpole around here!
Tbh I don’t have an issue with kids getting tickets, especially from poorer areas, it’s the tickets the club flogs to so call partners for profiteering.

I completely agree. The season ticket prioritises league games and nothing else. We have plenty of members who don't have season tickets but can do midweek cup games. Why shouldn't they be allowed to sign up for the direct debit scheme for the competitions that they can attend? They won't be signing up at the expense of season ticket holders but in addition to them. It's not right that someone who has been to every CL game thus far should miss out for Real Madrid, certainly not for people who purchased memberships yesterday but also season ticket holders who hate YOOOEFA until we get to the quarter-final and all of a sudden they quite fancy it.

I’ve worked in a local school (which it’s full of City fans) for 14 years and not seen City offer tickets to our kids once.
My nephew who went to school in North Manchester was in a group that were given tickets.a bit of a bummer as it was the Cit v Sunderland match in 2013/4 that was postponed due to a late torrential downpour. They were gutted.

Yet kids in Manchester can’t get to games … and lots of local schools aren’t given tickets. It makes no sense

Except it does make sense if you have 'enough' local fans and are looking to expand your global brand.

We're not a local football club anymore we're a global sports brand.

The upside of this is we have one of the greatest football teams ever assembled, the downside is everything else. Mansour giveth and Mansour taketh away.
