The club are probably trying to grow its reach nationally and globally so giving Local schools tickets doesn't really matter to them. Plus those kids from scotland will probably buy something at the club shop as well as food in and around the ground which means city make more money.

Do you know for certain they are free.
Mate at work has went down to 2 games as a package deal.
Over a £100 each time.

The club could easily void and refund all Friday's sales, and resell these tickets using appropriate priority. Absolutely easy to do with digital tickets and ample time also. The real question is will they admit they have made a massive cock up? If they won't, then they will not correct it. Over to you City!

We used to be so active in local schools, seems they’ve just rolled out that policy nationally, every tree is as strong as it’s roots. City more than any club should remember that after our journey, I don’t understand why they can’t rotate it match to match, local then national, or split it and do both every game

I don’t disagree with you and I don’t think it’s fair; I just said I don’t mind the tourists who take up the seats in front of us, which were let go by seasoncard holders following the Covid deferment.

I’m all for encouraging local kids to follow City and attend games; it keeps the fan base going.

Because they are aiming at the tourist market. Regular fans are seen as a nuisance.

Still plenty of tickets left in CB3 and ES3 through Sportsworld, one of City’s official travel partners.

Only slight downside is, you have to book a night in a hotel with it and it’ll cost you best part of a monkey.

Danny Wilson rang me after I emailed him once. We spoke for about 45 minutes. Seems a decent bloke. I didn’t get any tickets, should I even have to ask for them? We’re a Manchester school.

United have an office in our school. Ferguson opened our new 4g footy pitches, our kids are ball boys at Old Trafford every year and kids get tickets all the time.
