Unless the players have superpowers, it’s going to be hard for the players to go for all 90+minutes against a organised and experienced team like Real Madrid. We’re gonna have to play with high energy from the get-go with maximum concentration all game. Yesterday’s game will have taken a lot out of the players mentally and physically while Real had the luxury of bringing some of their players off yesterday in a 4-1 win. It’s not impossible, if we pull it off, it will be one of, if not our greatest achievements.

Come on Pep, change it up a little. We need our technical players starting, three strikers playing who have limited technical ability will never work. We need Cherki, Phil and Doku playing close to each other, that’s the only chance we have of coming back here. Push Nunes and Ait Nouri right up from the off.

If there’s any game Phils going to play himself into form, this is the one.

THIS is how we should have set up for the first match. No chance of this - Pep refuses to play Rodri and Nico G. together, no matter how much we will look set to be overrun in the center of the pitch.

I think we will win but it won’t be enough overall.

The current squad level is not champions league winning material.

I said months ago before we closed the gap on Arsenal that we won’t win anything. stand by that now. It’s not our season. You can’t have the amount of problems we have/had and win.

Glad the league is done. Get this game done aswell and we can start to properly evaluate the season and players.

So many not good enough.

I would try to move on 10 min. If possible. All you can do is start again and try to improve the squad. Keeping mediocre players will only keep the club down.

Manager and coaching staff need to be properly evaluated also. Who oversees set-pieces?

Not played well since we took Nico G out of the side.

We're probably playing Rodri, at least in part, to determine whether or not to offer a new contract to him. However, there is nothing that would preclude starting BOTH Rodri and Nico G.

Priority for me is the League Cup Final.

We aren’t even at the Champions League races this year, so let’s get this over and salvage something of the season.

League Cup plus top two finish are worthy but realistic objectives in current circumstances.
