If that’s a reference to training ‘today’ then it’s designed to deceive by the author because training on the day of an evening game is not a hard or physical session and players in the final throws of recovery often join them because they don’t need to be match fit to take part.

It would be nice if one or both were able to play a competitive game though.

I think its a reference to yesterdays session which was an 'open' training session
 
Vinicius Jr with us not having a RB is a real concern. He's created the most chances (25) in this seasons Champions League. Walker's pace would have helped keep him quiet. I have no idea who we can even play there.
