I mean the stats are as pretty one sided as your going to get tbf.

The result is all that matters in cup games though and I'd happily take a 1-1 there (after beating them at home of course).

I know it seems unlikely that we go through but Real Madrid have hardly been setting the world on fire either. They are in the play-offs, like us, for a reason.

We always have a chance at the Etihad, it's the Bernabeu that worries me.

Last 3 visits, probably outplayed them every time. Lost once, after 5 minutes of madness.
I admit that we aren't the team we have been, but let's hope that like some on here, they're taking a home win for granted. An early goal, like Bernie's free kick, and they'll feel like they've been punched in the stomach as they see all our players suddenly get that fire in their eyes again...

Our best hope, irrespective of who we play, is that it's on Tuesday; they've played tonight in a very tough game without resting players; and we're at home. It'd be nice to win. It'd be nice to truly feel that we've turned a corner, but, I think this is still a month too early - especially if Gonzalez is fucked.

Difficult decision, but Marmoush just edges it for me. He has had a frustrating start to his City career so far, but I have a gut feeling that he is going to start firing soon.
