Think we have a huge problem with Pep.
He has not adapted to our situation and its killing us. Every team seems to have 20 odd shots v us due to his and the clubs failings.
We have 2 clowns battling for the keepers position, bow many times has Ederson cost us in the CL ( always grateful v Inter) no full backs and defenders who struggle to play 45 minutes. God knows what our medical staff with state of the art facilities are doing.
We spend a lot of money on 2 unproven defenders, 1 of which was on the bench tonight.
We have wingers who cannot score and a midfield with no pace, no energy, no creativity and no defensive abilities.
We played a Madrid team missing their back 4 and we went slow with our expensive pacy new player left on the bench.
3-2 was flattering for us tonight, could have been a real thumping on another night.
180 million spent in Jan and he is still bringing on a championship level Lewis and past it Mr Whippy.
No chance of going through, most of us expected that but i have never seen a team fuck up to conceed goals as much of us.
I dont think he can fix it, his style is now becoming outdated where teams are all about press, pace, energy and we just do not have it yet he is setting up every game as if we have it

Honestly, its a shame its so obvious but - Kevin needs to be moved on at seasons end. Ake coming off - I'm not sure why. Fitness? Measured play time. I don't know. But that hurt. Gundo and Marmoush were too little too late. When Pep makes decisions like he did when the game could still be rescued, he chose wrong. I don't know where Doku was. Khusanov? He's physical and he's got speed. We're not rescuing anything at the Bernabeu.

Really disappointing but not surprising, we collapse all the time as our heads go.

I agree but I don’t know what we are going to do anymore. Game management has vanished, Nico not up to speed to play a game like this but we need him there and fast. By 60 minutes we are somewhat non existent in these big games, legs have gone, opposition bringing younger fresher players on where as we aren’t and we get run through. Tonight I thought our experience might be getting us through and then once again it’s a huge error that occurs.

Needs a huge rethink by the summer, teams are just staying with us to the hour mark, going up a gear and we are cooked both physically, but more alarmingly mentally.

Hard to disagree with the gist of that tbh.

I expected a battering tonight in score terms considering our shit season. But 2-1 or 2-2 or 2-3 we were going to lose this over two games and will probably get battered next week. Full team Saturday please. Concentrate on getting top 4 and a cup run

I thought we played well, team was too diluted at the end. But we showed promise and I'd still back us to give RM problems at theirs.

Lewis, is good, he's twenty though, he's yet to learn his art.

eddi, put us in trouble a couple of times, but I'd still prefer him to our reserve.

It is (At the end of the day) upwards on onwards, that performance weill give us a lift in the league, this was RM, not Orient.
