Think about it logically, why would Real Madrid go for RSC? It was obviously a joke, they have Kaka, Villa, Ronaldo.
If you could recognise it, then that was a clear example.

I'd rather read transfer wind ups than drivel like this. Some of it must be Rag stirrers

We need to break into the top 4 before we can sign players like that.

This should have been us this summer, not them. They are totally stealing our thunder.

If they sign RSC next week that's the final straw.

They are the biggest club on the planet, we're a mid table team with a few quid.....huge difference, none of those 3 would have come to City anyway.
We're a long , long way from being able to compete with the likes of Real Madrid.

Exactly right. It's all well and good having the money, but players like Kaka and Villa want European football at least. Champions League or nothing I'm sure.

They can sign all the big names they want... but will they gel as a team? Throwing cash at media cumfests isn't the way to run a club.

I'm glad we've got him but Robbie would have signed for Hartlepool just to get away from Real Madrid.

If they go and spend another £60m on say Mascherano and Chiellini or Vidic then they have a chance of winning the CL/La Liga but if they dont sort out thier defence then Messi and co will still tear them apart.Instead of 6-2 it may be 6-4 next time.
