It's a reference to Mancunian pop culture in the late 80s - the "Madchester" era as the press called it.
The JAM MCs, House DJs from Konspiricy and loads of the big "Madchester" gigs used to shout out "Manchester Vibes in the area" and "in the area" became a bit of a catchphrase amongs the youth at the time.
that's why they've done the banner like that.
