True but they were established stars in the teams where as I don't think that can be said of Sane.

He had far fewer automatic starters at Bayern than Barca, and now he's getting a bigger squad, he'll have even fewer still.

Realistically, we'll be looking at Silva, KDB, Ederson and maybe Sanchez who are "automatic starters".

The CB's will all rotate a lot based on form and injury, Mendy/Bertrand offer very different prospects so expect a lot of rotation there, Walker/Alves similarly. Gundogan/Yaya/Fernandinho won't be automatic starters, and Bernardo Silva, Sané, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero won't be by virtue of everyone needing to be kept happy and them being expected to do an incredible amount of work.

Would be weird IMO to spend £100m+ on 4 fullbacks and then not play any of them.
