This is a great looking team. However, all of the teams include Vinnie. He's our best defender & leader but he's played only a handful of games. Bringing in someone of the quality of Bonucci is a necessity given Vinnie's struggle with injuries.

I don't want to overshoot, expecially when the window isn't even open yet, but do you think that if we are able to acquire all of our targets this summer, we will at long last be in a position of squad stability?

Although it's great seeing new faces, I long to have a summer where an overhaul of the team is not required - where we only need to go into the market because something presents itself that we couldn't turn away from, or we need one or two players to simply replace players leaving. It seems like we haven't been in this position for a long time, and this hacking at the squad each summer has been detrimental to team cohesion and the cause of our inconsistency.

If we do manage to snaffle up all our targets, I believe we will finally have a rock solid foundation on which we can build for years to come, and with that in mind, I hope next summer is a quiet one.
