Really happy Ned's back

the problem is that along with Soccer AM and his mum releasing a story a year later to suit there agenda i fucking hate him, truly fucking hate him. He can fuck off, people keep telling me he is a blue. I would never do what he has done to the club

Even without the email 'Cook' up and SoccerAM, and I feel terrible saying this, I'm not hugely pleased at this to be honest.

It's great he's a boy blue, one of our own and such, but given the gigantic leaps forward we've made as a squad overall under Mancini, I'm just not sure he is good enough in all honesty.

That said, Bobby Manc has included him, so I'm behind him all the way.

Personally I think he's "just" better than Lescott. Lescott is better in the air, Onouha is better with his feet and quicker. Dont you remember the wonder goal he scored for Sunderland? Can you imagine Lescott doing that?
I understand the bad feeling from the damage he has caused to the club but IMO he is under rated as a player.

Not good enough , a product of our previous youth system which produced big talentless players who stood out because of their size at 16 years of age but at 19 we were left with a talentless waste of space so uncomfortable with a ball at his feet , it is a big NO from me.

Yeah Hughes, Mancini, Sven all know less about football than you

Defenders defend which he's not good at and never was on a consistent basis.Scoring a wonder goal once every ten years doesn't warrant a place in city's first eleven.

He's like many a player who's career has reached a brick wall at City with a combination of limited ability and a fucking high opinion of themselves, they think by stamping there feet and drumming up fan support that they can run shit shod over City.

Take your 38000 a week for the next five years or grow a pair of bollocks and fuck off somewhere else and play football for another 7/8 years at a lower wage.

Blues don't shit on there own club-Cook is worth more than you to this club.

Sven and Hughes liked him. He was capt of the u21s for a long time. The main person who didnt like him was Mancini, as I said above because he had one bad game against Spurs. Dont let the bad blood created by his outspoken remarks on soccer am and his Mum's meddling distort the fact that he was a good player.

I'm delighted we didn't sell Onuoha in the window there as I feel he is a great squad player to have if injuries occur. He is more than capable of filling in and is a very accomplished defender. He is a blue himself and loves the club. He perhaps was wrong to criticise Mancini on soccer AM, but he was obviously hurt in some way by Mancini, he wasnt thinking. I do hope, however that he isn't only in the team because of the whole email saga, becasue he deserves to be in the team. Those who criticise him obviously didn't watch him when he played for city, because I thought he did a great job when in the team.

He is top of my **** of the year list!

I mentioned his "wonder goal" to demonstate he has "good feet" on the ball unlike Lescott. He is a good defender, apart from the Spurs game he was consistently good, better than Richards at that time. Take a look at this old thread <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=184809" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=10&t=184809</a>
there were posters that didnt like his soccer am outburst but there are also plenty of posters who appreciated that he performed well for us on the pitch, and many thought he was unlucky. I am just trying to be fair and objective about his ability.

Hahahahaha!!

Oh sh*t, here we go again!! How many of you slagging Neds off are the ones that didn't rate Mancini as a manager?? Or Richards, wanting The Arse to take him off us?? Or, let's see... Dzeko based on half a season?

No Blue sh*ts on a Blue, but what are you lot doing, by irony??

Really, who gives a flying fook whether 'it's a no from me' as you don't run the rule over the players. If Mancini says he's in, that's all that should concern you. I don't like the self centred version of Tévez, but I know he can play within the system cos he's proved it. All I can do is shrug my shoulders and say 'well done' when he decides to play for the team.

If Neds gets on the pitch and does well/ contributes to the team win, then all you can do is say 'well done' too.

Would Nedum Onouha get on United's or Chelsea's bench?

If the answer is no which is my answer then why is he good enough to be involved on ours?

The fact that Sunderland wouldn't spend £6m on him speaks volumes, if a team like Sunderland won't spend £6m on him then again how does he expect to get in our squad.

This is purely a footballing opinion, if it was his off the field stuff he would not be here right now.

I think when Neds was loaned out, initially, it came at a time where the Richard Dunne type player was yesterday's man. Neds had built his game, learning off Dunney and this has ultimately cost him.

MAYBE Neds entry in to the fold is to do with 'homegrown' players, but really I'm pretty sure Mancini could have had that covered via the reserves. I think Mancini has not been upset that Neds has stayed as he could have simply left him out of the 25 man squad if he wanted to.

Neds willingness to fight, stay and improve has not been lost on Roberto Mancini and I think you will see Neds or Savic on the bench quite regularly.

I'll say this, Neds is savvy enough to know that he has to adapt his game and at 24, I don't think that's beyond him, at any stretch! I should think he'd have studied what RM wants from a defender and will have been working towards this end.

The reason for him staying CITY WOULD NOT PAY PART OF HIS WAGES...hence all the ongoing shit...think if he came on this weekend he would get so much shite..he would be glad to take a pay cut..

Btw it's standard company complaints procedure to allow someone to work during any investigation.only reason he's in the squad.

We turned Sunderland down when they offered £6m for him. He is a lot better than some of the squad players that have won PL winners medals with Chelsea and Utd.
Read the old post properly and you will get a less biased view of his playing ability than you will get now his Mum has contact the press. <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=184809" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=10&t=184809</a>

Fall on line or fuck off; always had a soft spot for our Ned, but the clubs direction and ambition has to come before any CEO, Manager or Player.

Winners are required to make clinical decisions, sentiment must take a back seat.

FWIW: I think given the opportunity Ned will get his head down and improve, adjust his game and realise
his potential. He's got age and intellect on his side.

If that was the reason he'd be training alongside Bridge.

As to the question above, would he get on Uniteds or Chelsea's bench? Yeah, I reckon he would if he was in their squad. Maybe not every week, but he'd be a handy player to have around.
