You're wasting your time. It's just people who have never seen City pre-Mancini that slag his ability. He was playing his best football before he left for Sunderland. Had a good year there, but he's not a big name so people don't wanna know. No-one believes he'll be a first XI player, but a die hard blue with good ability can be a top squad player.

The 'Nervous Ned' tag he gets always makes me laugh too, it's one of them BM myths. He's actually quite good on the ball as that goal proves, I him remember going on a class run at West Ham away too, to set up Geovanni (Sven's first game).

Rubbish, I've been a City fan for 32yrs and have always thought he doesn't look that great. A reasonable defender, but for me never looked that comfortable on the ball. Yeah I'll admit that he looked good when first introduced but that really was because he looked good in a bad group.

Things have now changed though, and let's be honest he's now only ever gonna be at a mid-table club, at best....or did I miss the bidding war from all the top clubs over the summer ??
