Reasons they hate us

The Cartel clubs (and the media) have marketed a fake reality about themselves over the years. They make out they’re like some kind of Hollywood clubs, something special who have always been big clubs and always at the top. The fans of the Cartel clubs, especially those “fans” who have only latched onto them because they’ve won stuff or because of this fake reality (and even some fans of other clubs), have all fallen for this fake reality.

The way they’re portrayed, you’d think the reality was that they were Wanderers, Royal Engineers, and Old Etonians and that no other clubs have ever been at the top of English football since those first ever FA Cup finals in the 1870s, and that they were all on about 36 league titles and 12 Champions Leagues each.

The lack of awareness of the reality is astounding. No football clubs are special and you will struggle to find any club who’ve had success, especially any kind of sustained success, without them starting out by investing heavily out of the blue to rise to the top. And no clubs in this country have always been big/top clubs… none!

Arsenal were a nothing Second Division club and were invested in heavily in the late 1910s+20s which allowed them to have a period of dominance;
Liverpool were a nothing Second Division club and were invested in heavily in the late 1950s+60s which allowed them to have a period of dominance;
United hadn’t won the league for decades and were invested in heavily in the late 1980s+90s which allowed them to have a period of dominance;
City hadn’t won the league for decades and have been invested in heavily which has allowed us to have a period of dominance.

The reality is that there is nothing different about what City are doing than what the Cartel have done in the past. But the facts are brushed under the carpet and it’s the fake reality that is pushed by the fans of these clubs (and the media and even some fans of other clubs). They’re “the true big clubs”, they’ve “always been the big clubs” and have “always been at the top”. And it’s never disputed because they’re the most successful clubs in the country and it goes back a while so “it must be true”. What was the line Rags kept saying just after our takeover “you can’t just throw money at it, it doesn’t work like that, what’s we’ve built is organic and special over decades”.

So when City have come along and smashed this mysticism that surrounds these Cartel clubs into pieces, shown the world there isn’t anything special about these clubs, their fans react in one way - they hate us!

They hate us, and they feel like they must belittle us in every way possible just so that the fake reality of their clubs is not threatened and is endured. Because that’s the sole reason why a lot of them “support” these clubs. So City can’t be a “true big club”, they’ve “never been a big club” and have “never been at the top”, it’s never disputed because we had a period of yo-yo’ing from 1983-2002 so “it must always have been true”. And they push this shit because it makes them look better and that their success is better than our success.

The more we keep winning and keep getting rid of this delusional fake reality all they can do it hate us because they’re so insecure.

i still don't understand why they think we cheated and manchester city pay the officials for results ?
its so far from the truth and everything manchester city has won we earned NOBODY gives us a helping hand.
from what i watched vs arsenal was a manchester city team running on empty after boxing day and midweek game
and a arsenal team only played once on boxing day ?

the haters will hate and manchester city are a easy target because of our owners.
BUT i think its about 5 years or more since manchester city needed sheikh mansour money ?

somebody posted manchester city winning prize money for the last 9 years £1.5billion.
now to all the haters and both red scums show us your debt

Not to mention the naked corruption that got arsenal into the first division in the first place

The realisation of the changing of the guard has arrived for many.

Initially it was no threat, then you have only won it once etc. Now 10 years since Sergio scored the dynamics have changed. We have become a machine.

The spend is no longer a justification either as others have Havertz, Lukaku, Van Dijk , Maguire for huge fees.

Empty seats is another weak excuse. It is just not highlighted as much for others if at all. Arsenal the other day in top tier was as sparse as it could possibly be.
