Reasons to be cheerful was released in 1977 and I started my truck sales career in 1979 at a Leyland Trucks dealer in Salford.
And Scammells were part of the range of trucks available to sell, a Scammell Routeman was an articulated tractor unit,which coupled to a suitable trailer would make it an 18 wheeler.
The Routeman was an old design and production ceased in 1980 and the Scammell name was consigned to history.

After winning the Treble i thought next season is likely to be a bit of a backward step for us, but the more I think about it the more I am looking forward to it.

How will Pep re invent us this year?
Can we become Premier league champions for an unprecidented 4th time.
Could we actually retain the Champions league?
Can Haaland become even more lethal with the usual 2nd season bounce?
Will Grealish continue to improve further. ( Will he have sobered up ).
Are we going to see Foden develop into a central midfield role.
Can we find a way to get Alverez more game time?
Is Rico Lewis going to become a regular starter.
Can John Stones possibly get any better?
Will the new signings hit the ground running.
Will we see more academy kids breaking through into the first team squad?

Can't wait to find out.
