Reasons to be cheerful was released in 1977 and I started my truck sales career in 1979 at a Leyland Trucks dealer in Salford.
And Scammells were part of the range of trucks available to sell, a Scammell Crusader was an articulated tractor unit,which coupled to a suitable trailer would make it an 18 wheeler.
The Crusader was an old design and production ceased in 1980 and the Scammell name was consigned to history.

That's very interesting.
