Reasons to love our manager Roberto Mancini

This year is gona b amazing I know were city fans but despite the back thought and paranoia about being doomed to constant disapointment, Im seriously excited about this year and theres no point in doubting or trying to predict what will happen, I think the only thing you can do is let it happen when it does!

Can't wait to see what pearls of positivity bill's gonna add to this thread.

he's either going to be very smug or eating large amounts of humble pie in a couple of months, i hope for all our sakes it is the latter

The thing with Mancini is it is too early to tell whether he will be a great manager, an average one or a bad one. I have seen good things in respect of the defence last year which makes me hopeful. however i can see why some posters believe him to be too negative for the premiership although i am hoping that was as much to do with personel last season.

I am hoping he is intelligent enough to realise what it takes to compete at the top of the epl
Sums up my feelings. There have been some things he's improved and some he hasn't. He will only be judged on the silverware he wins not his suits or interviews. What he's done as a player or manager in another league is really not relevant.

Agreed. The only thing that matters is how City do playing games and winning things. All the rest of the crap ( whether you are right or not in your idolisation) is meaningless unless we get some success.

He is the best manager we have ever had, and i include Joe Mercer in that. Champions 2010-11

Agree with both. Right now, he is on par with Hughes, as regards achievements with City.
