Reception for Mark Hughes...

What reception do fans think Mark Hughes would receive at City if he returns with Fulham? I think he would receive a great welcome to be honest, what do you all think?
Will he always be remembered as the 'RAG' or as the City Manager.

Why would the reception be any different than the massive ovation he got after the Sunderland game when he gave that farewell? I would cheer him, he may have been a rag but he wasn't one of those "through and through" rags who cares about nothing else and grew attached to our club while he was here.

A lukewarm welcome to be honest..He was very much out of his depth but it wasn´t his fault that the takeover took place so quickly.

He will be remembered as City manager for his contribution to the club in terms of the calibre of signings he made and how far he bought the club in terms of progress made in his duration here. I do not think of him as a rag as he no longer plays for them and as a manager he is a neutral and wishes to do the best job he can. I wish him well at Fulham and will applaud him on his return. He done nothing wrong in terms of his departure and the way the club relieved him of his duties was nothing short of disgusting.

If im honest hughes was never a typical rag. You could see how much the derby loss at the swamp ment to him, he looked as gutted as i was about the 97th minute goal by owen. I thought he did ok, maybe to much of a big step for him from Blackburn. I will certainly give him a good reception as he put a lot into city and would loved to of taken us to the top. Unfortunately, a much better candidate came along and that is life in football. i would like to say good luck to him and all the best.

But due to his Rag past it will be 50/50 in my opinion.

He was our manager at the beginning of all this, and we have a lot to thank him for: Carling Cup Semi, the 2-1 win over Chelsea, buying Carlos Tevez, buying Craig Bellamy, buying Adebayor, and deaing with his sacking well. He wasn't bitter towards us in the press afterwards, and he's never once said we dealt with him unfairly.

He just wasn't the right man for where we want to go. I'll never forget him though.
