Reception for Mark Hughes...

If im honest hughes was never a typical rag. You could see how much the derby loss at the swamp ment to him, he looked as gutted as i was about the 97th minute goal by owen. I thought he did ok, maybe to much of a big step for him from Blackburn. I will certainly give him a good reception as he put a lot into city and would loved to of taken us to the top. Unfortunately, a much better candidate came along and that is life in football. i would like to say good luck to him and all the best.
I aggree, I think the look of thunder on his face at OT after the 97th min goal said everything about the guy, and like others have said was he a 110% RAG, no I think is the answer. Good to see everyone thinks he will get a decent reception. What I expected from our supporters. Take note Talksh@te.

started the ball rolling at city and did his job to his maximum,i would expect nothing more than a major round of applause for him anybody that does not or shows bitterness needs booting up the arse!

Don't care about him being a rag, just thankful he's got nothing to do with us any more.

I'll treat him the same as the manager of any club I want us to beat.

Agreed, but he certainly did some big mistakes. BUT the one thing that impressed me was his "hate" for the scum, which I liked. I found it a bit surprising.

Certainly no big scum lover, overall thought he handled the situation well, and with a certain amount of dignity. Not his biggest fan but he certainly earned my respect.
