i'm going to be controversial, i really don't like the top

I think it's horrendous and those photos from Flickr just confirm it. The new home kit is getting a lot of abuse but they really have managed to butcher this one.

Is it as pretty as it looks on the mcfc website? If so I'll really consider buying it, always loved the AC Milan kit and our version looks fantastic.

i've heard this comment loads since they showed the kit and it really pisses me off

its not our version of milans kit, its our red and black striped away kit that we've had on and off for decades.

I apologise but I know red and black stripes as AC Milans Kit (as most people in the world do), a kit I love. So when I say I 'loved the AC Milan kit' you can assume I mean that as the highest of compliments and as someone else pointed out, we originally copied AC Milans to give us a winning mentality.

I perfectly understand your reasoning for ranting though and respect your opinion.

Wasn't a pop at you mate, just the whole milan thing, i think the official facebook pages comments riled me a bit, a lot of new fans seem to think its a new strip and drirect copy so maybe my fuse was short lol

can you buy long sleeved versions yet? and do they have the stripes running all the way down, because i've seen pictures which just show a black forearm? i hope someone understands.

you can get the long sleeve but the stripes stop at the fore arm (where the short sleeve stops the remainder down to the wrists is all black)

The long sleeve version only has the stripes down to the same place as if it was a short sleeved shirt! The rest of the arm down to the wrist is just black.

I actually like what they've done with the long sleeves - if you think about it, the players who wear short sleeves these days often wear the tight shirt underneath them, which for this kit will be black, so will they will look the same anyway!
