The first time I heard 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. I was aware of Queen before that, without being a fan as such. Hearing that song persuaded me to buy "A Night at the Opera".
Queen.jpg

Quite an outlay, considering I was only 13 at the time! No looking back since then!
My musical awakening too :O)...Virtually word for word. Nice one mate! I dont know about changing my life but it certainly guided it from there on. It inspired me to take up guitar playing deffo.

As a big Queen fan, even I could see how wank that was....;O)

It's a classic album dabz. IMO, it beats the shit out of 'Thriller'! Brian May is the daddy of guitarists (top man too!). Check this out;

Love the comment when talking about his mistake; "You can pretend that you know what you're doing!" Brilliant!!!
Agreed though re. the episode on the roof of Buck House. But hey, it was for 'Charidee'!

Wonderful stuff mate! I was living in Northampton years ago and I had gone into a music shop to buy my first delay pedal. I started playing Brighton Rock to try it out. I went into a world of my own. When I finished, I looked up and everyone in the shop had gathered round me watching...Ive never been so embarrassed....

Watch and learn from the master dabz!

Not a bad sound for a Victorian fireplace is it;O)

Roy Harper - Flat, Baroque and Berserk. Turned me into a hippy in 1970. Now I'm retired and working hard to become one again. Still got the signed album.

Ah yes. The 'red special'. Knitting needles, mother of pearl buttons and old motorcycle valve springs went into that beauty. Oh yeah, and home made, hand wound pick-ups too! Designed and made by himself, with help from his old man.

The composer of life,
has arrived with his wife,
as composed as a cup of te-ee-ee-eeea
He composes his toes,
as he blows on his nose
dee-dee-dee-dee(forgot the last line)
Roy Harper-legend;o)
