Recovery, what recovery?

I have a question for the loony left.
when labour were in and we were on our fucking knees they didn't take responsablity for the recession, citing its global and in real terms (pmsl) we were doing ok compared to other economies.

now the tories are in all ills are down entirely to them.

why is that?

Labour are not a left wing party but the other side of the same coin the Conservatives. It's 2 parties jumping in bed with major corporations, if you look at Labours policies on workers rights, social housing, trade unions, the welfare estate, tax concessions for major corporations etc they are a right wing arm of the elite.

We now have food banks in the UK; one of the richest countries in the World. How is that progress and somehow indicative of a recovering economy?

Glad you asked.

The bankers and the Tories are all one and the same, along with all the other fat cats who trouser the wealth, property and means of production when recession bites, who then squeeze the workers until the pips squeek to pay off the so called debts we've apparently run up.

So to blame the Tories and the bankers is perfectly logical, and so I expect you to vote anyone but Conservative next time round.

very nice. so assuming the tories had no part to play in the last labour government, who caused the recession that almost broke the country then?

So you were able to work but not willing?

But uncontrolled immigration is good for the uk.

I don't blame anyone for wanting a better life, I'm hopimg myself to move to norway in a few years for a better standard of living, wages are higher there and I'm sure I'd work for a lower wage than a norwegian to ensure employment and still be on more than I am here and have a better standard of living. Don't want to have a rant, but the influx of immigrants doing skilled work for less money has lowered wages for lots of tradesmen meaning a lot of the jobs that used to be good money are now minimum wage or just above. Class 1 drivers used to earn good money, now its 8quid an hour for example.

A somewhat hypocritical posting if serious

read my previous post about the financial sector and the housing "crises", a TRUE LABOUR government would have changed these policies and built more housing stock on brownfield sites with the properties under public ownership.

Not hypocritical at all, I said I don't blame them and that I'd do the same.

Zero hours contracts and univesal creditwill put millions into debt without hope

Zero hours contracts will not put people into debt as they will be unable to get a loan for a car never mind a mortgage to house their family, thus ensuring that the state will have to supplement their income while their employers get ever fatter funneling away their ill gotten gains to offshore accounts.

And not forgetting the shameful attacks on the disabled and those who dare to have a spare room.

What about people with mortgages and car loans who can only get a zero hour contract jobs
