Lives up in posh Oldham doesn't he?...so The Lion of Diggle maybe? The Lion of Sale.
Ha, yes what a load of bollocks. utd used to dominate teams at their best under the pisscan. Used to play a different style to us with getting it wide and crossing but still dominated most teams they played. Definitely wasn’t a counterattacking style.Ironically, United never played counter attacking football. Ferguson's most famous principle was about "penetrative passing", which they focused on in almost every single training session. They almost always had most of the ball and they used that quickly to break lines.
Yeah, as much as i can’t stand the scousers. Our games with them were as high a standard as the premier league has seen. Due to another team having the balls to take us on.These sort of comments really piss me off.
When I have conversations with fans of other teams and they start this bollocks........I agree with them that it can be boring at time.
But it's not our fault that we play against a 10-man defence every 4 games out of 5................but then the conversation turns to when teams actually try to play and we've been involved in some absolute classics (Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea etc)
The rags counter attack consisted of Giggs, after defending a corner, pissing off down the left wing at a rate of knots. Sometimes he got the ball but usually not. That’s it.Ha, yes what a load of bollocks. utd used to dominate teams at their best under the pisscan. I usually just ask them if they think its still the 90s.A rag said to me about a month ago, do you think you're bigger than utd, bigger than Madrid?
Nobody supports City who doesn't live within 20 miles of the ground, he told me.
It was in the middle of a heated discussion about the 115, and it was someone I didn't really want to fall out with, with him being family, (through marriage obviously) otherwise he'd have been drowned at birth.
I just laughed and walked away.
Maybe bigger, definitely better.A rag said to me about a month ago, do you think you're bigger than utd, bigger than Madrid?

They are both bigger, I don’t think we could ever get near Real in all honesty. But if all you’ve got left is “we are a big club” you’ve lost already. If you have to tell folk you are a big club, you probably aren’t.A rag said to me about a month ago, do you think you're bigger than utd, bigger than Madrid?
