So,like i mentioned in a couple of 'management' threads, and against popular opinion,he is a very capable manager after all......

Was this before or after he beat Liverpool, United and Arsenal? :D

When it was appropriate to the thread.

I meant the popular opinion, not when you said he was a good manager.

Oh man I was hoping for a rodgers/mourinho dream team when Mancini leaves/is sacked/stays *delete as appropriate.

Redknapp will pick his sons mates but actually fancy he might do a job in a one off tournament. We're not going to win it anyway so may as well give him a go. Problem with England was highlighted by Micah last week.

He's currently in work but not prepared to let that cat out of the bag YET!

I know its the Sun, but anything to do with this... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... dgers.html

The cats out the bag ;-)

I would be very happy with Rodgers assuming that is true. I'm not sure he can be described as "safe hands" though, his appointment would be very risky after just one season managing at the top.

-- Tue Apr 17, 2012 5:38 pm --

Might be bad news for Richards considering Harry rates Walker very highly.

I fully expect Gerrard, Lampard, and Parker to be the first choice midfield at the Euros. Maybe Crouchy will manage to get back in the squad as well.

I gave up expecting England to win anything after 96. If that is the England midfield and I have every reason to suspect you're right, I won't even bother watching it.

It's not just the team selection. I'm not sure I could stand watching 'arry playing up to the media when we win a couple and then reminding us that England were nothing until he came and hadn't won "nuffink" since 66.
He's an absolute charlatan, a despicable excuse of a man who has somehow managed to pass himself off as a loveable rogue.

I hope his dangleberries plague him terribly all the way through the Euros and he takes every press conference with his arse twitching more than his face.
The twitchy faced, itchy arsed, bent twat.

driving home from work i decided the 'safe pair of hands' was Ancelotti

although someone's probably posted by now
