driving home from work i decided the 'safe pair of hands' was Ancelotti

although someone's probably posted by now

Brendon Rogers apparently.
i thought he was to be no.2 in the jose-brendan dream team?

I just want to clear this one up:

Jose contacted Rodgers (back in the Autumn) about the possibilty of him being his number 2 on his return to England next season, it was never a given that it was definately going to happen, it was put to him in conversation about his thoughts e.t.c

I don't think either of them expected Swansea, along with Rodgers to have such a good season, all it's done for me is flag up that Jose wants his return to England next season, he's looking for a number 2 (Rodgers as choice) and he wants City to be his preferred destination.

In the grand scheme of things, anything is still possible.......................

Article in today's Mail from Ian Ladyman about why Moyes has got to move on for success. Coincidence?

That's who I immediately thought of.

If it is Moyes you can bet that fucker won't sell Bale to us, thats for sure!

that's great news for us, we're lucky that Barca's after him...lol

easiest job in football; no glorious past to live up, no realistic hopes of success, no truly world-class players to juggle to fit in, a public that thinks "passion" is a substitute for talent, a media that thinks a good throw-in is a sign that the manager is a genius
The ineptitude of the FA, over many years, has left the national game stuck in the dark ages. If any one doubts that, have a look at the lower leagues which have more homegrown "talent" .Kick and rush, a no skill zone. Yet all their coaches have FA badges????.
It would be a pleasant surprise if no City player was selected for the national team ( selfish, i know) but playing every game at Wembley is the end of my interest in international games.
