I wish the lad a good and long career most people
On here have never seen him play before
Myself included he,s in the next round and he got
Their third goal and they won by one goal
Against liverpool give him some credit lads it's early
Days for him as a first team player .

Exactly. Some people are way too keen to pass an early judgment.

Wabara is 21, this is around the age when City usually make a decision on these lads. Wabara probably will have a good future but it's not going to be at City. He isn't even close to the required level. Kieran Trippier who is a year older than Wabara is a far superior right-back who was capped a lot more at England youth level yet we sold him to Burnley, where he's now attracting Premier League interest. It's certainly too early to judge what level Wabara will be playing at in 5 years but not to judge whether he will make it at City - he won't.

He must of only gone there on loan recently I tink i saw him on one of the inside City videos playing for the reserves the one where Mario scored 2 for the reserves.
He's on his second loan spell at Oldham he came back and played in the EDS game that Mario played in then went back on loan for a month.

I agree Wabara is decent but not good enough for us he will make a great living out of football

OK. I don't know enough about him. But he just got the winner against Liverpool, he's 21 and he's coming back to us soon. We have some really spoilt fans now. Sad, really.

It looking like he is coming back to City, that was his last appearance for Oldham and with the uncertain future of Paul Dickov then who knows where he could end up.

On todays peformance,he's at his level,i think he'd probably struggle in the Championship.

A shame,as LC has mentioned,he was one of our brightest prospects.

On today's show? He was playing against a premier league team and played well.

People think hes better than he is imo! I watched him against United in the senior cup final and he just wouldnt defend and let there striker have a clean run to score and when we played Oldham at the start of the season he wasnt very good

-- Sun Jan 27, 2013 8:19 pm --

He scored yes but he was booked for a silly challenge and was never there when Liverpool attacked he just walks back
