Wabara is 21, this is around the age when City usually make a decision on these lads. Wabara probably will have a good future but it's not going to be at City. He isn't even close to the required level. Kieran Trippier who is a year older than Wabara is a far superior right-back who was capped a lot more at England youth level yet we sold him to Burnley, where he's now attracting Premier League interest. It's certainly too early to judge what level Wabara will be playing at in 5 years but not to judge whether he will make it at City - he won't.

I agree Wabara is decent but not good enough for us he will make a great living out of football

OK. I don't know enough about him. But he just got the winner against Liverpool, he's 21 and he's coming back to us soon. We have some really spoilt fans now. Sad, really.

Spoilt? How exactly are we spoilt? He's playing in League 1, even if we didn't have a vastly talented squad he would still be nowhere near our line up or subs bench. Not gonna predict exactly what level he will be playing at in 5 years or so, but lets be honest if we couldn't loan him out to a bottom half Premier League side, let alone a Championship club he's clearly not good enough for us.

WTF your saying some fans are spoilt because they think a player who you have never watched before (apart from today) wont make the grade.

Coming back then going again as soon as another club comes along! He wont get a chance with Maicon Zabaleta and Richards & rightly so! Even Boyata is a better right back who would fill in there before Mancini would pick Wabara in the Prem!

I think quite a lot of our fans get carried away with themselves when talking about our youth/EDS players. You could count on one hand the players in our EDS squad that look like having the potential to make it at a top club. Obviously that will change in the coming years with all the development and investment.

I think he should play at oldham till end of the year he deserves to play against everton
after today no point bringing him back and missing out on another big day for oldham

Fairplay to the lad he is in the next round of the FA cup great experience for him , if he keeps his feet on the ground he will have a career in football. I would of given my right testicle , a kid I went to school with was getting £700 a week for playing Divison 2 football . I have to skunk about in crap conditions for that working all hours
#sortyournapperoutyoujelousterwats;)

No idea about the lad, never really seen him play, but I'm guessing he's at Oldham for a reason.

However, for today, he's a blue, and he's just knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup, so well done lad, for that he should be part of our "iistry".

At least Liverpool can concentrate on the europa league now.....
