Ref for Southampton.

Awful refereeing. How many times was Aguero fouled yet "advantage" played for advantage not to acrue and play NOT pulled back for the foul or a yellow card to be given. Compare and contrast with "advantage" decisions for Southampton. Ankle taps throughout the game too. In short open season on Aguero.

Not shit, just a cheat.

If he got more than a 5, i'd be stunned. Shite job today.

Mane sussed the cheat out early doors and then spent 90 mins on his arse.

Needs to learn the advantage rule. You can't pull it back half a minute later when the Southampton player makes an unforced error. The advantage was played, he screwed it up. Terrible officiating and he was in danger of losing control of the game until Kolarov sealed it. Absolutely nothing will be said of his performance though and he won't have to answer to anybody. It's not bent refereeing and there's no bias or agenda against us, it's simply a case of him not being capable of doing his job to the required standard. Serious change is needed before it becomes laughable.

How can you say that their wasn't any bias or agenda against us?

Aguero was fouled on at least three occasions when he held his arms forward to play advantage, we lost the ball and he didn't bring it back. If a referee doesn't give decisions consistently for "both" teams then that is the epitome of cheating. Or are you just trying to to take the moral high ground, that **** today was a fucking cheat.

Utterly fucking clueless. Where do you start with that idiot? The advantages he fucked up, numerous fouls on our players not given, the handball (which should have been a red card as well). Shocking performance.

Back pass too. Inept performance, just glad it didn't cost us.

Think he'll have the weekend off next week.

Advantage

The referee may play advantage whenever an infringement or offence occurs.

The referee should consider the following circumstances in deciding whether to apply the advantage or stop play:

  • the severity of the offence: if the infringement warrants an expulsion, the

referee must stop play and send off the player unless there is a subsequent

    opportunity to score a goal

  • the position where the offence was committed: the closer to the

opponent’s goal, the more effective it can be

  • the chances of an immediate, promising attack

  • the atmosphere of the match

The decision to penalise the original offence must be taken within a few seconds.

If the offence warrants a caution, it must be issued at the next stoppage. However, unless there is a clear advantage, it is recommended that the referee stops play and cautions the player immediately. If the caution is NOT issued at the next stoppage, it cannot be shown later.

These are the sort of performances we should make official complaints about, we won so we can't be called for sour grapes.

+ 1 absolutely shocking. Mane spent must of the time diving around whilst Wanyama just wanted to pull Toures shirt off. no talkings too, cards etc. very hard to argue this dick today wasnt biased

Nope. Not trying to take any moral high ground. He was shit, incapable of doing his job and in any other profession he (along with almost all of them) would be sacked for that kind of ineptitude. To suggest they are all bent and corrupt is an entirely different thing and just plain wrong. Every team has their set of fans that believe every ref has a personal vendetta against their team and only their team. In reality, they don't, they're just not up to the job. Unless you're suggesting the refs are deliberately shite in games not involving us too just to keep up the act of just being crap at their job so that they can achieve their real goal of being as bent as possible against us. If that's the case then i take off my tin foil hat to you.
