Ref for Swansea

My biggest grouse with officials is their inconsistent inconsistency. Take the Spurs match as an example. The lino in the first half consistently flagged Spuds players offside for the first 40 minutes and then inexplicably missed one that was yards offside and they scored from the next phase.
I prefer to watch a game where you do not notice the officials, but what are the chances of that happening nowadays with this current bunch of dimwits.

Liverpool at home was another. The ref let go a challenge on Sagna before their first goal that was no different from many he pinged later. The liner was two yards behind the play for firminho's goal. The advantage rule played by the ref was more like in rugby union at times, yet at other times he completely and unnecessarily prevented a counter attack from developing.

He allowed the worst time wasting I've ever seen in that West Ham game, an absolute disgrace. At the end of the day this game is supposed to be entertainment, time wasting annoys me more than dodgy decisions. That day was like watching 11 Tim Howards, fucking nightmare.
I was going to mention that, but it may have shown my blue blinkered bias . He then carried it on in the Norwich game, and actually told Hart to speed it up when we were ahead!

Matters not the name, outcome is always the same.

they are all fucking bent!

When was the last time we had a ref who applied the Laws of the Game as they are written? I think it was the last game in Europe and then he only lasted till half time. They are simply not upto the job. Some of them behave and act as though they are the sole custodians of the game, and when the opportunity arises they grab the chance to 'rewrite' said laws. Would you take the risk of having one of them in your 'Lottery Syndicate'?

You have eloquently summed up my problem with referees right now and that thy interpret the laws of the game rather than applying them.

They help kill confidence, though.
If this statement is true then as a club, we have serious issues.

Watch MOTD and you will see decisions that appear to be wrong in every game every week and the fans that suffer those decisions will feel hard done by.

We really should shut up moaning - we're becoming a bunch of excuse making whingers. The team on the pitch has been very sub standard this season and we should stop blaming the refs for our shortcomings. Gone are the days when there was true collusion and corruption in the Fergiscum era.

That is complete bollocks- what is wrong with expecting a so called professional to ref the game applying the rules evenly to both teams?

He is a joke of the ref-who will continue his trend of allowing the opposition to time waste, break up any city momentum and allow all 50/50's in the opposition's favor.

This ref is the new Peter Walton!!!!!

Problem for me is, the Premier League is now a world wide show and too many refs want to be
a major player in it. Someone should tell the fuckers, it's the footballers people pay to watch.

Look at his performance today and compare it the the man in charge midweek.

No comparison and the sooner the worlds richest league employs foreign refs at the very top of their game instead of the useless twats they do the better.

Bang on the money, the difference in ability between this twunt today and the ref we had on Tuesday night was fucking huge

Bad but did we get out of jail with their disallowed goal
Only seen it live and looked OK
Yeah, it wasn't a foul, just two players after the ball - one of whom was a keeper. I'd have been gutted if that was us and it was disallowed.
