Ref squaring up to player

I've no idea to be honest. He was only doing Champions downwards when I knew him but let's be honest we see Anthony Taylor referee United regular and even when they've played us. It's not so much who you genuinely support but more about integrity. There's plenty that can say they support Altrincham or Tranmere but it's more about their on field performance that answers that question truthfully.
He's reffed Newcastle once, they won 7 nil away.

Mixed feelings on it, some players probably deserve a slap for their antics but a ref is there to uphold and apply the rules so can't let it become personal. He has the power to send off a player if the player is abusive.

I tend to agree.

If the player had been personal towards him that's a red.

Exercising restraint comes with the job, like the police really. Everyone is human though and people will occasionally lose it, though it's not a good look when they do.
