Yeah it was a tough one for him today. Never really got a chance to influence the result. Broke the play up for them in the middle sometimes. Soft free kicks as you say. Lee Mason, what a shambles. Seems to make a very poor decision every three or four games and clearly not fit enough to keep up with play. Shouldnt be a professional referee imo.
