Appalling. His refusal to give yellow cards until the game was won was a great way of levelling up. He must have been well annoyed with Grealish because Jack made him look like what he is, a cheat.

Prime example of how referees can subtly work to “level” the playing field in an attempt to influence match outcomes.

Isn’t always successful, as it wasn’t today, but it is draining to constantly have to play against the opposition and officials.
