Pretty sure those ratings directly relate to the referees ability to 'influence' the outcome of games.

They need someone who is good at cheating without making it look obvious. I've no doubt after the weekend OliVAR's ratings have taken a bit of a hit due to the fact he made it look TOO obvious.

Yeah someone like mason, moss, mariner, pawson or tierney (especially tierney) would be far to obvious a choice, had to be oliVAR to be fair to pigmol

What still baffles me about the Gabby non-penalty:

If the the reason for OliVAR not giving the penalty was because the defender got a toe on it why was the restart a goal kick and not a corner???
