The Sterling penalty was probably rightly disallowed but would not have at Old Trafford or Anfield. Gundo had a case for a penalty as did Silva.

We have not been given a pen this season and looking at today's officiating it is easy to see why.

Atwell set his stall out early when he played advantage when there was fuck all on.

Started before that, 2nd minute corner, quite clear, given as a goal kick. Another game refereed to try and stop us, alongside var, lost count how many passes he tried to stop, its just amusing now in how obvious it is.

It wasn’t a penalty and I can’t remember being too annoyed with anything.

Same here tbh. The first one he got right, but the 2nd one was for VAR to call and nothing. Overall though the ref was ok.

yhp. A game where the stats wouldn't show an anomaly but watching the game was conclusive as to how wilfully inept it was.

Surely there is enough evidence for us to request Atwell does not officiate our games. Today after his last openly corrupt performance at Brighton shows he cannot officiate our games fairly. Time for the club to put a few more dossiers together i think.
