Ref Watch

Re Sterling's penalty. We are attacking and Sterling's running into the box, after a var review, 3 minutes later they give Everton a free drop ball !!!.
So if Attwell hadn't given a wrong decision (allegedly) we could have gone on and scored and yet Everton benefit. Surely its a contested drop ball or even given back to us.

Are you new to City games ? :}

Yep and because we have won swept under the carpet like most of the bad decisions against us. Any other team today would had at least 2 pens.

It wasnt reviewed , ratboy said if it had been looked at it was a pen , this is where we get shafted
It’s so blatant yet it happens in front of the nation, week after fucking week. Nothing ever said or done about it. Will it be covered in motd2 tonight? Will it fuck

Salah DIDN'T get a pen late on yesterday for a blatant dive with minimal defender contact...

...just saying.

Don't really know what I think of Sterling's "penalty incident" today.

Defender makes an attempt to make a tackle. Makes no contact with the ball. Obstructs without (much) contact.
Letter of the law it's an indirect freekick on the edge of the area.

But, it's not a deliberate dive (he just loses his footing under pressure as he's forced wider due to the challenge), but not really much of a foul either; just a light arm on the shoulder and the whiff of a thigh bump.

Truly bizarre how far VAR goes to find the angle that "shows" no contact though, and....

Angle 1 "looks like contact was made"
Angle 2 "looks like contact was made"
Angle 3 "looks like no contact was made"

Why does the view of angle 3 now become the most important angle when every angle shows a somewhat "subjective view" of the incident ?

Exactly why didn’t VAR take a look and if it did why did it not alert the ref to go to the monitor, ffs even Neville called it as a pen it fucking stinks, must be some sort of betting scam not to award pens in certain games, cause that’s a few games now ( this season)we have been denied stonewall pens ..
It’s nothing to do with betting.
It’s pro united
Pro liverpool
Pro usa
Anti Arab

The media’s, and therefore the premier league’s, interests are vested in the red usa clubs

Because it wants to.
