Well done ignoring all the others mentioned and cherry picking

so VAR has helped us gain 3 points (1 against Southampton & 2 extra against Wolves).

Agreed we should of had a pen @ Anfield so 2 points lost there (although weve missed pens there before to win other games)

Net result +1 point in our favour. What are all the other incorrect VAR decisions which have cost us points??
Better still, there is a var thread in the other forum.

We've had a plethora of pens not given that should have been, doesn't have to change the result for it to be wrong.

Tanganga should have been off in the first half against us for accumulation which would have meant playing 10 men.

Laporte wasn't a sending off v Palace if Evans wasn't for the same thing 2 hours earlier.

We were screwed at Anfield.

So in all but the Southampton I haven't checked we've had result defining decisions go against us, and even in games we've won we've been denied calls that would have made a much easier win.

All adds up.

Meanwhile Dippers have won 6 points from VAR in the past week, 1 more against us and that's before we even delve deeper or analyse the systemic difference in how we're both reffed.

Are you pissed? A foul inside the area is a penalty. If whilst a corner Is coming in a player gets wrestled to the ground, is that not a penalty because he didn't have the ball? Give your head a wobble
Slight difference, when the ball is coming in from a corner anybody in the box could play the ball. The Newcastle player was never going to get that ball as long as he had a hole in his arse.

Ederson took him out but not deliberately, I grant you that he brought him down and if a penalty had been given I would not have complained. I was just trying to second guess what was going through the referees brain, that is if he had one in the first place.

Nobody has had the guts to point out that we should have had a penalty in the first half against Wolves for a clear and obvious handball.

However you look at the Wolves game, it is not accurate to say VAR helped us gain two points.

Many say the penalty that was awarded should not have been. Shearer on Match of the Day 2 last night was one of them. Jenas said a few minutes before him, the referee's will go away and analyse MOTD and other highlight programs to see where they made mistakes, so that they can improve their performances in future. With Shearer declaring categorically that our penalty against Wolves was incorrect, this is now the accepted narrative (by everyone not connected with City, plus a few City fans like you).

For the penalty, the Wolves player's arm was raised, thus enlarging his body shape. The ball struck his arm below the shoulder area. This is a penalty. Don't let MOTD, with their expert opinion backed by an inaccurate photo convince you otherwise.

But there was an earlier penalty claim against Wolves, that was not given. Personally, I don't think this was a penalty because the ball hit the player near the shoulder, and this is not deemed handball this year.

So looking at the two penalty incidents, if you go by The Laws of the Game, the second was a penalty but the first wasn't. Ignoring the LOTG, the reverse would be the case. You can't have it both ways. We definitely should have had at least one penalty, which we did.
Handball starts at the end of the short sleeved shirt as per below picture. So the top part of the under arm isnt considered handball

Robertson mate, the dirty scouse wing back who has got away with murder over the years. As for the Ederson incident, if the ref had given a penalty it would have been more than the Bar Codes deserved, their player was not in possession of the ball and could therefore not have scored. An indirect free kick was what they deserved.
Ederson’s was a clear pen. Amazing decision it wasnt given. It does not make a jot of difference the newcastle player wasnt in control of the ball or likely to score. Indirect free kicks are not given for this type of offence.

Robinson is a twat and deserved a red (As did Kane).

Ignoring Kane’s straight red missed yesterday, another decision that went for them i guess… He goes they likely win that game
