I don’t think every ref is bent or against us. I do think their job is hard. They don’t help themselves though (at least their trade Union don’t). They are definitely in a place where they are susceptible to influence though and the weight of instance of corruption in sport suggests to me some of them probably have been. Just my opinionA bit. Look at every single club’s online forum and they are all convinced every referee is bent and 100% against their team.

I'd go further than your point about making him VAR overseer. I'd have him as the boss of the organisation. He wouldn't be able to resist being on Tele every week explaining decisions made. His ego would love his own show on the job.
