One of the most bizarre refereeing performances I've seen in many years. He seemed conflicted in what he wanted to do and what others wanted him to do
For me, this is one of the ways they subtly influence the outcome of games. Can't believed he just waved it away so.confidently
I was browsing the post match stats and after reading this had a look. Leeds 42 tackles, 13 fouls, 2 yellows. City 12 tackles, 3 fouls , 2 yellows. If that's not game management I don't know what is.How can the same ref who not long ago booked 6 Leeds players at their home game v Rags, also booking 3 Rags be so lenient with their fouling today.
We are clearly officiated differently, 2 bookings from 3 fouls compared to what they got away with should lead to an investigation but it wont.
Nothing in the media or MOTD about his performance, already swept under the carpet.
The club are far too soft, Klopps head would be exploding in the post match interview about that with the media highlighting it, its why they get away with so much as officials are spineless where they know we never make a fuss so it makes their job easier to give everything against us
Definitely. So the people who chose him are corrupt…..
"You're not fit to referee" because they wanted a booking for Grealish being fouled by Dallas, who injured himself. I know they don't get the benefit of replays in the stadium but it was clear as day who went in on who there. He started ok. Second the crowd was on his back it was like he couldn’t give us anything. Strange football, if you ask Leeds fans they’d say he was against them.
Another weird set of fans who had a bee in their bonnet over Grealish. Seemingly he should be allowed to get consistently fouled and it be ok"You're not fit to referee" because they wanted a booking for Grealish being fouled by Dallas, who injured himself. I know they don't get the benefit of replays in the stadium but it was clear as day who went in on who there.
