Ref Watch

Well we all saw it last night with our very own eyes.

It was laid out in front of us like a platter.

Good challenges by Villa were blown up as fouls.

Liverpool fouls were waved away play carry on.

Pulling Villa back when there was clear advantage.

Getting in the way when Villa were breaking.

It was appalling bias.
It was blatant cheating poorly dressed up as incompetence.

Moss made it TOO obvious.

I'm agreeing with you. @eastmanc seemed to be saying it was just poor fitness rather than blatant product management.

It's amazing how McTominay (last season when the Rags were getting shoehorned for 2nd place) and Fabinho (this season as the Dippers fight for the title) have been reffed in exactly the same way by different officials throughout 2 seasons.
Coincidence?
Bollocks this as been the corrupt fuckers weak spot in their system, because we can all see this.
Both seem to be able to constantly foul without a booking until the 79th minute +
They think the rest of us fans are stupid and they can just mug us off.
Bent officiating is blatant in the Premier league towards the cash cows of their product.
This isn't a conspiracy theory

2012/13 The Rags were allowed to foul until first yellow after 60th minute, normally then he’s subbed. Got the first red after they’d won the league & it was a poor decision.

That was the stat padding evens itself up example. It’s so blatant & they’ve carried it on.

Stat padding has been going on for years.

I'd like to see the data on it in terms of the issue of cards and when they were issued. Also how that affected the outcome of the game (if/when the opposing team scored after the card(s) were issued, etc.). I think that would make VERY interesting reading.

No intervention from the 4th official on a couple of incidents which we have seen in the past.

Also, nothing will be done as no one in the media will continue with the calls for an investigation. People like Henry Winter will now forget about it aafter making a subtle comment. Its like he is trying to prove that Pep is wrong and that journos do speak out. Yes, speak out for 10s then file away.

He's getting called out all over the place this morning.
Maybe he is getting called out but as far as the PL is concerned it's job done. A possible slip up by the wall pushers could have meant us winning at West Ham when they aren't playing thus removing any last day tension. Moss is retiring so it doesn't matter as nobody will really question it any further and it will all be dealt with by a shrug of the shoulder. If we win tonight and Sunday then we are six clear meaning they have to beat Southampton to then have a chink of last day drama. Watch out for plenty of contentious decisions in our next games and I fully expect that in one of them we will be down to 10 at a time when the game is still in the balance. We will then have the card rescinded after the game as it was a mistake but the damage will have been done. It's so blatant and obvious it's frightening and it will take a brave journalist to spill the beans.
