There were 5 goals in the 2nd half and at least 6 substitutions, how did they only add on 2 or 3 mins ?

Best thing he did was ignore their guy rolling around on the floor in the frantic passage of play that led to the corner from which we scored our 2nd

OliVAR took no shit off the rags. He knew the rag cunts that were taking the piss and dealt accordingly. Had to give the cunts the obligatory soft penalty mind.

I thought he started ok & then stopped making decisions, let them off many yellows, gave us advantage when there wasn’t any & thought the pen was pathetic.

In the first half of they had 3 breaks from infringements that were ignored.

How was the no12 not booked for pulling fodens arm, acknowledged by Oliver playing advantage then 3 mins later gets booked for a separate incident.

You can overthink things sometimes. A referee might start to automatically put the whistle to his mouth when he sees a potential foul. And then in the split second he has to make a decision decide he doesn’t think it was one, so not blow it.

Funny how that “overthinking” never happens in our favour tho…. Weird that…

Agree with that…. Just seen it back on MOTD, never a pen in a million years. Shoukd of been booked for assimilation

Hate to be pedantic but nobody knows ’the rules of the game’.

Pedantry aside, when you look at the inconsistency in decision making (not suggesting any bias here) then it is difficult to think that all referees interpret the laws in the same way.
