Ref Watch

Does he travel to every Liverpool game he is involved in on their team bus I wonder?

Does anyone at PiGMOB think it a bit weird how he is involved in almost all their fucking games as VAR?
He seems to be involved in a lot of their games. Even for the sake of appearances that shouldn't be allowed to happen.

England was on VAR.

Given that he thought the Cancelo incident was a pen then he SHOULD have brought the TAA incident to the attention of the on field referee and asked him to look at the monitor.
He was but it wasn’t VAR that gave the penalty and red card in our game, it was the referee.

You should give yourself more credit, you are consistently contrary

Well it seems a bit pointless replying to a post just to say you agree with it, so you’re probably right. Isn’t the whole point of a discussion forum, to debate points raised that you disagree with?

Which was the same Darren England.
How he can give that yesterday and today, on Var, not flag it for the referee is staggering
He should have asked the referee to review it today. The Sky pundit, a former professional Liverpool football player and manager said the referee would not have seen the push from his position behind play. He said from the side on camera view, there was a much clearer view of the push. So this was a case of the referee making a clear and obvious mistake, and he should at least have been asked to look again.

England is building up quite a reputation of being pro-Liverpool.

League cup final last year being a prime example.

Can’t wait for Dermot Gallagher to tell us why the two identical incidents both had the right call applied to them
There was a difference, Joao used more of his body to make the challenge, and handed him off as contact was made & is definitely more square, which is acceptable in the right circumstances, Tront uses one hand from behind which is never acceptable in any situation, despot Dermot will simply say “not enough in it for me” to wave away comparisons
