Ref Watch

Fucking rules have changed since you were a ref Gallagher you clown, I can recall a game of ours you reffed away at tranmere, one of their defenders made a full length dive to punch a Kevin Horlick shot off the line, no pen. The same **** is now looking at new ways of giving handball against us. Thank fuck there is no agenda

It is hard not to get sucked down the rabbit hole of agenda's and fixes isn't it? I used to raise an eyebrow when people banged on about it here, but what with Der Spiegel, scousers hacking us, the endless media assault on us and our achievements not to mention some dodgy decisions here and there I'm more of a believer these days

There is no doubt in my mind Paul. The constant negativity towards City and fawning towards the rags and dippers, well it’s definitely not coincidence

Just been reading the posts on the Rags thread about the FA's ruling "Nothing to see here" in relation to the Chelsea post match comments. And the possibility (sorry definite) of them getting dodgy refing decisions in the weeks to come. And my thoughts turned to who is the ref for the Derby. If it is Oliver we can guarantee that will be the case.

Think they'll give us blind pew, just been looking at the elite list, imagine calling it that!!!!! There's nobody in there I'd trust.

People said the same about the Liverpool game, and other games.

Curious to see how Kavanagh does tonight, with blind Massey in tow. Suspect it will be Alty yet again with Olivar in his ear on Sunday as they pulled off with aplomb last season.

Or Ratkinson. I read somewhere that he likes to take time with his decisions so am still waiting for him to give a pen for youngs assault on Sergio

I actually wouldn't mind Alty reffing on Sunday. We all know he has a closet full of red shirts so usually has to temper his decision making to a more balanced outlook than would be the norm. Certainly can't remember anything too outrageous from him in recent derbies.

gave them a pen via VAR to win the game last season whilst we didn't get any of our appeals, unsurprisingly.
